Found an interesting little patch of mushrooms that all seemed to be growing in the bases of the moss covered trees but only in one area... Curious.
Then a little further on I found some newly formed Puff Ball mushrooms. Must be getting close to fall.
Lovely puffy mushrooms on that last one. Do you think any of them are edible? I guess the motto is, better not try. :)

I understand that there are many edible mushrooms in the area where I live but I've never taken the time to learn which is which. I'm with you on the better not to try part!
