I recently purchased a new lens for my Nikon D80 and had the opportunity to take it with me on a couple of hikes into the mountains of SW Oklahoma. The Tamron 18-250mm lens performed very well, allowing me to stay at a safe distance from the very large buffalo I encountered and it a kept me from having to be too sneaky to get this shot of a prairie dog. I don't think either of the animals were too pleased to see me.
Nice pictures! Are either of these pictures post processed ie. croped sharpened or anything or are they as shot with your new lens?
