Late afternoon sees a different Waikiki. The locals come down to the beach. Sailboats large and small stream out of the marina and take up position on the horizon. One by one the park benches fill up with people waiting quietly. As the shadows get longer a quiet anticipation grows. The sun dips lower, a hint of orange outlines the wispy clouds to the west. Every day just around this time you find yourself waiting for the sunset for this is the evening ritual.
The narration of the photo is as colorful as the photo itself. Very nice!
