End of the road.

Went for a hike with the dogs up some very old overgrown logging roads and found or I should say re-found this old bus. 25 years ago I'd seen it in this same place but you could almost drive to it back then. Now days it's about a 2 1/2 mile hike from the nearest road to get there.
I'm thinking it was someone's "Hippy Shack" back in the day judging by some of the junk scattered around. The only one living there now is Webster the Spider.

  2. Yikes! Looks like something you would see on a scary movie set. All you need is a great big snake slithering around and I would never go near the place! LOL

It doesn't take long for the land to reclaim itself once people stop coming around.

  4. Excellent find! Reminds me of the book "Into The Wild" by Jon Krakauer. A true story about Christopher Johnson McCandless who walked into the wilderness north of Mt. McKinley. Four months later a moose hunter found his decomposing body. Excellent read.
