Have you ever tried to photograph a bee in flight? Getting it in focus and with a good background is harder than you might think. I just couldn't get them to look at me and smile!
Great bee pictures! Though you are right it's hard to get the little buggers to smile... Sometimes by going to a smaller apature you are able to get more in focus light permiting of course.
