Sunrise out the back door...

Fifty feet from my back door the "Temperate Rain Forrest" begins. This was the scene that greeted me a few days ago as I headed out for the day so I took a few pictures... If you look real close in the bottom middle of this picture you can see the path that leads down to a nearby creek and a favorite place to walk the dogs.

  1. Do you have ticks up your way?? or maybe a bigfoot!

Lots and lots of green going on there. Anything could hide in that.

    1. No ticks but definitely one needs to keep a sharp eye out for Bears, Cougars and Sasquatches! That's why we always have dogs along when we go out in the woods...

Isn't it about time you and Cheryl come to British Columbia and have a look see for yourself? We'll even turn the mat at the front door over to the side that says welcome if you do!

    2. "turn over the mat" LOL

We are planning a few trips for next year and Canada may be on that list. We will probably be back to the mainland next spring and then to France and then maybe up your way.

    3. You guys are welcome any time and if not this coming year than whenever works. I'd love to show you around my little patch of "Paraisde North".
And who knows we may get ourselves over to Maui before too long, besides you guys I also have a cousin there that keeps bugging me to "pop by" any time. LOL!
