Some of that British Columbia weather must have slipped down here this summer because we haven't gone more than eleven days in a row without rain all summer long. This has brought out a bumper crop of inedible mushrooms. Too bad these can't be truffles, I would be lying on a beach in Hawaii right now!

Yup, cool wet weather is what you need to grow these things alright. Nice close in shot! The foreground is all in focus and the background is just the right amount of unfocused.
