The Home of Frank James, the Outlaw

This photo was taken in Cache, Oklahoma. When Frank James ended his carreer as an outlaw, and was aquitted of his crimes at trial, he moved to Fletcher, Oklahoma where he spent several years riding the area around his home on a horse digging up some of the treasures he and his brother Jesse had buried during their time as outlaws. Frank recovered at least six different treasures before returning to Missouri.

The house was later bought by a man who owned an amusement park and the home was moved to the park for all to see. The park closed many many years ago and the house just sits there now, slowly rotting away. When the man bought the home a lot of the furniture and kitchen items used by Frank James were still in the home and they still sit there now.
