Paparazzi?

Look Your Best

It was final day of judging for this fine group of goats at the Canadian County Free Fair. Couldn't help myself as I approached the pen with camera in hand. Voiced a couple of 'Bleats' which turned the goats attention to the camera. Figured it was OK as configuration carries alot of weight in judging. These young judges needed to see the other end before tallying the final score!

  1. Whatever you said to them in goatish seems to have gotten their attention! LOL
What I's like to know is how does anyone keep a white goat clean, these three look spotless!

    1. Paul, the way the young boys and girls take care of their animals is something to be proud of. Several baths a day along with all the trimming, combing, primping and petting keeps their show stock snow white and clean as a whistle!

  2. So you're the guy! I've gotten several backside photos of animals because somebody else made them turn around. LOL

I'm with Paul, those are some pretty clean goats!

  3. The goats look so clean! Are you in Canada? We're now back in California, Petaluma in Sonoma County. John has a work contract and I get to see Virginia regularly again. Hopefully I'll get some personal history jobs while here. What a busy summer we had. I have lots of catching up to do with my blogger friends! Hope you are loving life Parker!

    1. Hi! Levonne.
No, not in Canada, still here in Yukon,Oklahoma. Yukon straddles old Route 66 west of Oklahoma City and lies in Canadian County between the North and South Canadian Rivers.

I kept up with your re-location to Canada and it seems a nice fit for you. Nice to hear John got a work contract for the winter in Ca. and you are getting to spend time with Virginia. And Yes! Life is good! parker

  4. Good timing on the shot. You got those goats looking at your camera, and they are pretty goats. I'm feeling bad looking at this picture, after we had some goat curry last night.
