MAD BABY

In the upper reaches of Spanish Canyon, opposite of Spanish Cave, on a remote and seldom used trail one must pass under this rock formation.






Looking back to the West this rock formation appeared to resemble an unhappy baby face.

    Baby face or grumpy old man? They both look about the same don't they? LOL

    Spanish Canyon? That's one hell of a hike unless you come in the back way.

    Yes they look very similar. I chose Mad Baby because we have a couple new ones in the family.

    I did come in the back way. TJ showed me the way. We crossed the canyon exploring the south side before heading back west. That is not the easiest hike either.

    Good eyes! I probably would have walked right past and not noticed... I would say though that this looks more like a grumpy old man to me!

    Finally the weather is getting to the point that one can get out hiking without getting soaked and frozen...
