Falling Water

These were taken along the road to Hana this last trip.

  1. I recall that road and the remarkable scenery as we drove to the top. Young grandson got a bit carsick, tho. Interesting that this should be one of the first posts I open this morning because I just finished reading "The Aviator's Wife," an historical fiction of the life of Anne Morrow Lindbergh. Did you see Lindbergh's graveside?

  2. Lovely!! After 5 inches of rain yesterday, our waterfalls are FLOWING. The only drawback is that the water is BROWN. yuck.

  3. Third pic is my favorite. Like the three falls forming that nice pool of water.

  4. All of these came out real nice, but if I had to choose just one I'd go with Parker on the third picture.
Let me guess... Hand held, 2.5 seconds, f 22 with a couple of ND filters!

    1. And all while balancing on one foot Paul! LOL

These were taken between f16 and f20 with an ND8 filter on a tripod. I was set up right at the edge of the pool the falls were falling into to. I had to crawl off the side of a bridge and take a short hike across some boulders and through the trees to get down to the waterfall. I think I've been hanging out with Q too much! LOL

    2. Why going through those troubles! Take a short cut, just jump off from the top. LOL. I think I like the 2nd. image.
