  1. Very nice mirror image of bird plowing a furrow while fishing for its prey!

Another good action photo of a Bird of Prey!

    Your Pics are a pleasure!!

  2. WOW and WOW! How do you do it? You have so many pictures that for most people would be only once or twice in a life-time captures!

Both exceptional shots, I especially like the top picture in this posting.

  3. Paul,
When you shooting birds, you have to be "PATIENT" is a must, and required multible trips back to the same location.

It helps if you know someone in the area that could point you to the location, and if you are not lazy like me, pickup some books for that particular bird you want to shoot.

Also, the most importance tools you will need are some super telephoto lenses 200-400mm, 400mm f/2.8, or 600mm f/4, and teleconverter.

Oh, One last thing, shoot with a tripod.

  4. Man, you're killing me with these bird shots! These are fantastic! I can't believe you're not shooting for National Geographic.

Patience AND a tripod????? You're asking a lot from a grumpy old man! LOL

  5. Thank You Ron. My photography skills is not near as good to be one of those NG mag. photographer. I have shown my portfolio to a couple local magazine company here in Dallas, such as Big D, and Luxury home magazine. Guess what! They all told me that my photography skills it doesn't meet their qualifications. Well, at least they look at my photos.

I think I need to stick around Semiconductor field for now.
