A DARK SKY CAMP

Caprock Canyons State Park in West Texas is a Dark Sky location!
Located in a sparsely populated area of Big Ranch Country, man made lights are few and far between. Light Pollution for the Star Watchers is not a factor.
By Day, one would not realize this. Light, intense and very Red in its casting, Steals the Show.

    The first photo telling me a life that I should be went I retired, the colors in the bottom two photos are wonderful, just like the one come out from a Travel magazine. Very Nice Parker!

    Looks like a prime location for night long time exposure shots!

    I agree with Quynh, I would expect to see pictures like yours especially the bottom one in a travel magazine!
