I found this crawdad in a small pool of water a few months back while out hiking. The water was so clear you could hardly tell it was there. He's under about 4 inches of water.
Where there's one there has to be more! Around here we are able to set bated traps for saltwater shrimp and prawns... Is there such a thing as a crawdad trap?
That water is really clear, were you using a cp filter or was there no reflection in this shot?
Nice shot! Amazingly clear water. Guess you couldn't call this guy a Mud Bug! Makes you wonder how they got there? I've heard the bird theory, but I don't know.

ReplyDeleteThe only filter I had on this one is the UV filter that I keep on all of my lens for protection.
ReplyDeleteI just got the proper angle on the shot and it took out the glare.
Parker, this one was way up in the hills behind Isom's place, I doubt he got there by himself! LOL
