Just 20 more . . . .

. . . . and I might have a meal.

I found this crawdad in a small pool of water a few months back while out hiking. The water was so clear you could hardly tell it was there. He's under about 4 inches of water.

  1. Where there's one there has to be more! Around here we are able to set bated traps for saltwater shrimp and prawns... Is there such a thing as a crawdad trap?

That water is really clear, were you using a cp filter or was there no reflection in this shot?

  2. Nice shot! Amazingly clear water. Guess you couldn't call this guy a Mud Bug! Makes you wonder how they got there? I've heard the bird theory, but I don't know.

  3. The only filter I had on this one is the UV filter that I keep on all of my lens for protection.

I just got the proper angle on the shot and it took out the glare.

Parker, this one was way up in the hills behind Isom's place, I doubt he got there by himself! LOL
