Looking to the right from those interesting sandstone formations I posted yesterday you can see Pultney Point Light Station on Malcolm Island. Took this with the Nikon 18-135 then embellished it some in CS4.
Yes Ron I finally did send the Sigma 120-400 in for repairs for the second time, fingers crossed this time... Couldn't help but notice that Sigma has a new 50-500 with image stabilization. Now if someone would just come out with an 18-500 VR II f2.8 about the same size and weight as an 18-200...
An 18-500 VR II with a f2.8? Got an extra twenty grand?? LOL
I had looked at one of the Sigma 50-500mm lenses when I bought my 150-500. It didn't have image stabilization but I wasn't sure how it would work with that big of a zoom range. It would be nice though!
Great detail in this photo. This would have been a good canidate for the wide angle with those clouds.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like the Nikon lens is still serving you well. Did you ever send the Sigma back for repairs again?
Neat little place there. White buildings with red roofs. Gives an appealing feel for this lifestyle.
ReplyDeleteNoticed the floating debris in this pic and last. Must have had a water rise.
I have to say that you are good with the CS4 software. I like the cloud formation in this picture. Good Work!
