Cane to Cactus

River Cane Reflections

I suppose 'Diverse' would best suit these two pics. At lake's edge one can find a brake of cane growing.

Prickly Pear

Scramble up the granite cliffs a few feet in elevation and one will find cacti clinging from the walls. From water dependent Cane, to water sparing Cactus. Diverse indeed!

  4. You seem to find the most interesting places to explore and take pictures of! I like the way the second picture came out, sharp subject slightly darker background just a little out of foucus.

  5. I've never heard it called river cane before. I like the cactus shot with the out of focus mountain in the background.
