Orangius flowerius


A bit of background Bokeh for Ron... Ha ha!

Once again I wouldn't have a clue what wildflower or weed this is but it's in bloom here on the North end of Vancouver Island.

    Great bokeh and the contrasting colors are very nice. Another nice macro shot.

      This from the internet:

      Hieracium aurantiacum is also called Pilosella aurantiaca, with common names including Orange Hawkweed, Tawny Hawkweed, Devil's Paintbrush and Grim-the-collier!

  3. Something about an Orange flower that makes one look twice! Sinister name, but the Devil did not make me do it!!
