Mushrooms!

Went for a walk in the woods and started noticing mushrooms, so I took some pictures.

A couple of quick facts from the internet... Mushrooms a type of fungus. Unlike most plants that use the sunlight and chlorophyll to make food for growth, mushrooms take their food directly from their environment. Another unique property of mushrooms is that they are one of the only plants that produce vitamin D.

  6. You've outdone yourself with these. When I saw the first photo I thought this is great and will be my favorite. Then I saw the second photo and thought the same thing and that continued all the way to the last photo, which actually may be my favorite. I'm still not sure.

These are really nice close up shots. The colors and details are amazing. I've never seen any of these kinds of mushrooms before.

  7. Very nice colors, and nice job to present them. You timing just right for the 2nd picture, I think there's a water drop splashing on that mushroom. Good work!
