Beetlejuice

The hummingbird from yesterday was sharing the plant with these beetles. The beetles were everywhere around this plant! And before you ask, I don't have any idea what kind of plant it is, it's not in my Hawaiian plant book. LOL

  1. Whatever that bloom is, it's pollen sure attracts the pollinators from birds to insects!

  2. Great close in shot and all in focus too! I don't recognize either the flower or the beetles, must be more local to California... Guess you're going to have to get a California bug and flower book for your collection! LOL

    1. I think for California you'll have to settle for "yellow flower" and big blue-green beetles". LOL

  5. Cute title! Looks like quite a flower! (I can't believe how small the hummer from yesterday looks next to it)
