Sacred Spirit

White Deer Of Autumn
by Denny Haskew

This was my favorite sculpture of the two entries from Haskew.

Spirit, love, forgiveness, and sacredness of human spirit, along with peace, are some of the themes that occur in his works.

I could see some of the themes in her eyes!

  2. Beautiful sculpture indeed, great find Parker! Is this sculpture rock of some sort or concrete?

    1. Paul this is actually cast bronze using the lost wax method. How the artists are applying the color to the bronze I haven't researched yet.

    2. Never would have guessed Bronze!
I learned the lost wax method in High School metal shop... I don't think they teach these kinds of skills much anymore.

  3. What a great find. I really like that middle photo, it could be a postcard or a framed photo. Very nice!
