Hint of Fall

Little Baldy

The day after Ron and Cheryl left for home I found these trees decked out in their finest colors. The previous couple of nights of below freezing temps seemed to have prompted the change. Little Baldy and the lake made for a good background while the native prairie grass made a good fit for a foreground.

Watering at Daybreak

Walked west aways and found these two Buffalo that had came to water at Quanah Parker Lake. Kind of liked that Parker Mt. was also part of the background for this shot. Early morning sunlight was doing it's part to highlight the color of the leaves while warming the picture taker. A clear, cool morning with no wind carried the promise of a fine day, and it was!

  2. Nice wide open vistas, both look like good places to hike around with a camera.

  3. Both photos look like landscape paintings and would serve as a great impetus for an artist.

  4. These are great Parker! I especially like the first one of Little Baldy. Lots of contrasting colors and a great view. Nicely done!

  5. Both of the pictures have a nice balance on it. Nice job on foreground from the top picture. However, I love the bottom picture due to the Bisons being in the shot.
