All shined up...

Over the past number of weeks Jake and I have taken advantage of the nice September weather and gotten the landing craft all scraped and painted, top to bottom. Good thing we got everything finished, today the rain started... Probably won't see the Sun again until next May. Ha ha!

  1. I hope the rain won't take away from all the work you guys did.

    1. There are a number of settlements in this part of the world that are only accessible by boat or float plane. I use the landing craft to deliver building materials and vehicles mainly. Just a hobby job really, by the time all the fuel and maintenance is figured in I'm lucky to break even... Ha ha!

  3. I have to say, even for a "land lubber" like me that is just too cool! I could think of a ton of things I could do with that. You need to make a pole with a tripod head on it to mount to one of the railings and then you could put your camera on there and snap away.

  4. Very "spiffy" looking paint job! I believe Ron has a pretty good idea for another use of the craft. Business and pleasure combined!
