Morning's First Light

As the orange glow pushes in from the east,
Darkness retreats to the west.
The twinkling stars become ever fleeting,
Warming the cold air darkness has left behind.
Allowing for mother natures creatures to flourish.
Birds flying, fish swimming, deer grazing,
and photographers capturing it all.

  1. These are both really nice! I think I like the bottom one the best just because there's a touch more light which brings out the reflections better.

  2. Each shot has it's own character and appeal. Both I appreciate from being there. Whether from inside a blind or sitting behind a camera and tripod in the back of my truck while anticipating the Sun's arrival. I'm always surprised by how cold it gets in the minutes right after the sun clears the horizon. A sensory jolt!
