Being "Nosy"


 
The Unicornfish or "kala" in Hawaiian.
 
Back in old times the Hawaiians would stretch the skin of this fish over a coconut to make a small drum. The skin is supposed to be very tough!

    What a face on that "Pinocchio" looking fish! It almost looks smart enough to talk! LOL

    Interesting fish with a good story. My new favorite fish!

    Interesting find, nice photos!

    The face on the Kala Fish in the top photo reminds me of a Disney character but for the life of me I can't remember which one!
