Log Salvor

Over here on the West Coast there are many interesting ways to make a buck, one of which is log salvage. Given the proper equipment, permits and licenses one can salvage logs that wash up on the local beaches and sell them to the local Pulp Mill or a couple of other buyers in the area. Though I've never seen anyone get rich salvaging logs, I do know several people who make enough to justify doing this as a side business. Always something interesting going on in the inlet...


  1. I guess they call that thinking outside of the box. At least the lumber isn't going to waste.
