An island in the distance

This is a shot of Lana'i taken form the shores of Maui with the Sigma 10-20mm wide angle lens.

  1. Looks as if this day would have been a good time to sail over to the other Island. Tide appears to be going out leaving foamy water over the lava rocks on shore. Nice composition and the color of the water is so blue!

  2. Oh now wait a minute, I think you're trying to trick me. I don't think any day would be a good day for me to sail to the other island! LOL

Although I am going to try one more time the next time we are there. I will take a couple of dramimines, put on my seabands and have some crackers and gingerale with me! If that doesn't work I will just have to resign myself to being a "land lubber" :~)

  5. Nice, and is that a hill in the background? Or just some interesting cloud formation?
