Snazzy Pink Scooter

Looking West

Attractive streetlamps and wide sidewalks complemented the freshly painted storefronts. A shadow from the lamp post, if used as a Sundial, indicates it was almost noon when these pics were taken!

Parked and Chained

As I was getting my camera gear ready for my picture taking walk, a stylish young woman wearing a backpack rolled up on this snazzy pink scooter. Smiling, she stepped off and chained her pink ride to the post while making the comment it was time for work! I had my first shots of the day!

  1. I've wanted a pink Vespa for years, but I'd have a different color for the seat!

    1. Kate, a pink Vespa to run around on when visiting Santa Fe would suit you to a 'T'!

  2. I've seen several rotten city cores brought back to life with great success, much like you've shown in the top photo.

Speaking of Vespa Scooters... Anyone out there remember the movie "Quadraphenia"?

  3. That would be the perfect way to get around that part of town. Cheryl wanted me to buy her a scootere when we were in Oklahoma. I'm glad I didn't, it would have done well ont he gravel roads we are on now!

I would say the pink sccoter with the orange seat fits right in with the color scheme of the area too.
