i'd love to ship you about 2 1/2 million of these suckers. we've had them here for at least 2 solid months, and they've about eaten anything they can find (except crab grass).
Your rain sounds like ours! Although I think it was one clap of thunder, one bolt of lightning and then we were done!
Bait a hook with it and throw it in the pond! A big old bass might be hungry!Leaves are curling from the summer heat, to bad you didn't get an all day soaker!
But that would mean I would have to go out in the heat if I went to the pond! LOL
Nice find, little fellow is the perfect color to blend in with those leaves. So is there a difference between locusts and grasshoppers or are locusts just a bunch of grasshoppers like Tex-Wes has where she is?
Paul, where I come from (Oklahoma)we called a grasshopper a grasshopper and a locust was what is everybody else calls a cicada. Maybe it's just an Okie thing! LOL
Do you know other countries considering this creature is one of their gourmet dish?
I think I'll pass on that one. I eat enough bugs accidently when mowing the lawn. I don't think I need that much protien! LOL
Thank you for taking the time to look at our blog, we appreciate your comments!
