Fish(eye) at Table Rock Lake

After a couple of very hectic weeks we took four days off and headed to Branson, MO this past weekend to get away from work and de-stress a little.

I took this shot using the Nikon fisheye lens just to see what it would do. This is a 180 degree veiw of part of the lake taken from the shore.

I should have taken the underwater housing with me because once we got to the lake I realized the water was clear enough to get some good underwater shots but I traveled light this trip with just a couple of lenses.

Maybe next time!

  1. Beautiful results with your 180° fish eye lens! Looks warm there... Looking forward to seeing more from this lens.

  2. It was hot there, at least most of the time. The first day it was 100, the second day it was 99 and it finally cooled on the third day with high of 90. The day we left (yesterday) it was only 83.

  3. Always is good when you are away from work! I can see a lot of details on the clouds, did you use the GND filter on this one?

    1. Sort of, I used the GND filter in the Nik software. This is an HDR image of five bracketed shots.

    1. LOL! Never have been a big fan of large crowds but we took the kids and grandkids with us so we had to go some place that had a little something for everyone.
