Vetch and a Bumble Bee

Vetch is the local name given to the wild peas that grow in and around the logs above the high tide line on many of the beaches around Northern Vancouver Island. This Bumble Bee was just in it's glory as it moved from flower to flower and wasn't the least bit worried about me getting in close to take it's picture.

  1. Nice crisp shots. You're getting a lot of detail with the new set up. I can really tell a difference in your photos.

  2. Got to love them pollinators! Some of the farmers still plant Vetch around here for silage.
