The lone Loon

Yet another handheld shot with the Sigma 120-400. (Iso 200, shutter 1/125, at 400mm) Loving the abilities of this lens and take it everwhere with me.

Just purchased the "Lowepro Flipside 300" this way I can put all my everyday camera gear in one backpack instead of two smaller camera bags. (Thank you Ron for the heads up on Lowepro camera gear.) I'll post a mini review here after I take it out hiking a time or two.

  2. Very Niceeeeeeee! This is a perfect picture to use "spot metering" to make the water darker. Just a suggestion only!

  3. You continue to keep the bar high!! Dang, that is one nice photo!

The handheld abilities of the Sigma make it a workhorse! I can sure see why it has become a take everywhere lens.

When you do your review on the backpack please include pics. mp

  4. When I saw the title I expected to see a photo of myself!

This is a REALLY nice shot! Lots of color, it's clear and bright and the reflection of the water is fantastic. Very nice!

Oh and I like the idea of us being taste testers in Hawaii! I'm really good at that!

I can't wait for the review of the backback. I've been looking to get a new one myself but now with two camera bodies and grips and a series of lenses and batteries and memory cards and filters ...

I need to find just the right one.
