Back in time

They say that traveling to some parts of the south are like stepping back in time. I didn't think I would be going this far back though!

As we were taking the long drive down to the fancy marina where the water statue was found we saw these dinosaurs cleverly hidden in the tree line along the road. At first you have to look twice to make sure what you are seeing and then it dawns on you how clever they were in hiding them in the trees to give them a better look.

We got out of the car to take a closer look at a couple of these "creatures". They were a lot bigger than I thought they would be.

OK, let's hear it. I know there are some "old" jokes coming my way. LOL

What can I say? I was a tourist and if I'm following Paul's rules, I had to get my picture taken with one of these!

  4. Great find! Very clever of the artist to hide these sculptures in the woods.

Paul's rule? You mean getting in the picture, I can't think of a better way to show you were actually there!

  5. You really know how to show yourself as a tourist wearing that Hawaii shirt! But, I think that Triceratop is suffering while you on top of it.

  6. LOL Q! I never go anywhere without my Hawaiian shirts!

And the dinosuar was creeking a little when I climbed on top. They were made of fiberglass and I wasn't sure it was going to hold the old fat man.
