Beginners Beach


I think I can...


I think I can...


Uh-Oh...

I came across this small beach area next to the Lahaina harbor on Maui where there was a surf board rental shop that gave lessons too. There had to be 25 people in an area about 50 yards long trying to surf on the 1-3 foot high waves. It looked like fun but since I was suffering from a sinus infection I didn't get to try it. Maybe next trip.

    So this is where it begins. One day you are riding high on baby waves, the next finds you inside a wave surfing in the Pipeline with tons of water crashing behind you as you try and find a way out!LOL
    Now that would stimulate the adrenal glands! Nice pics!

    Sure give me a rental surf board, I could go and make a fool of myself on these nice little waves!

    Better yet give me my camera and I would be quite content to sit on the beach in Maui and take pictures of surfers all day! LOL
