Sunset at the ranch

We were out at the new place last night doing some yard work and I had the opportunity to catch a nice sunset. I actually set up my tripod for the shot! LOL

This was taken with a Nikon 17-35mm f2.8 full frame lens on the D700 using an ND4 filter.

  1. What a great place for Sunset pics. The pond gives off nice reflections.
The Nikon 17-35 full frame lens produces nice landscape images. Good proportions!

  2. Wow big sky and nice reflection as Parker already mentioned!

Nice results with your new lens, f2.8 is going to give you some good low light opportunities for sure!

  3. Very nice! Did you get to try out this camera with 80-200mm lens?

  4. I'm hoping so. I had this set at f16 when I took it though. I did have the tripod after all!

  5. Yes Q, I took a few flower shots the other day with the 80-200mm but I haven't even looked at them yet. I will soon and maybe post a couple in the next day or so.
