Two dog rock

Found this very large broken rock on a lonely stretch of beach near the Old Suquash Mine Site. For whatever reason Sunny and Maggie wanted to climb the rock. Both needed help getting up the first 6 feet but scrabbled up the remainder on their own.

Large erratic rocks like this were purportedly deposited in random places by the glaciers that covered this part of the world during the last ice age.

  3. Maggie reminds me of Rin Tin Tin standing watch atop split rock. Sure looks like an interesting hike to the mine!
