The Grasshopper

You weren't expecting a picture of me were you? LOL

We actually got a little rain yesterday, it lasted all of ten minutes and dried up in about the same amount of time. I found this little critter on the leaves just after the short downpour.

  1. i'd love to ship you about 2 1/2 million of these suckers. we've had them here for at least 2 solid months, and they've about eaten anything they can find (except crab grass).

  2. Your rain sounds like ours! Although I think it was one clap of thunder, one bolt of lightning and then we were done!

  3. Bait a hook with it and throw it in the pond! A big old bass might be hungry!
Leaves are curling from the summer heat, to bad you didn't get an all day soaker!

    1. But that would mean I would have to go out in the heat if I went to the pond! LOL

  4. Nice find, little fellow is the perfect color to blend in with those leaves. So is there a difference between locusts and grasshoppers or are locusts just a bunch of grasshoppers like Tex-Wes has where she is?
