We actually got a little rain yesterday, it lasted all of ten minutes and dried up in about the same amount of time. I found this little critter on the leaves just after the short downpour.

i'd love to ship you about 2 1/2 million of these suckers. we've had them here for at least 2 solid months, and they've about eaten anything they can find (except crab grass).

DeleteNice find, little fellow is the perfect color to blend in with those leaves. So is there a difference between locusts and grasshoppers or are locusts just a bunch of grasshoppers like Tex-Wes has where she is?
ReplyDeletePaul, where I come from (Oklahoma)we called a grasshopper a grasshopper and a locust was what is everybody else calls a cicada. Maybe it's just an Okie thing! LOL
