My Mountains


I took this shot a couple of years ago in the Wichita Mountains of southwest Oklahoma. I grew up hiking and camping in these mountains and they are a special place to me. As long as the federal government doesn't screw them up they will be a place to go and relax and enjoy the surroundings.

    I agree that there are certain places that need to be left just as they are! Clearly by looking at your photo this is one of those places. Very traumatic sky in this shot, love the rays of sun coming through the clouds!

    Interesting! A familiar scene to me, but seen in a new dimension! A spiritual feel with the rays of sun breaking thru the clouds!
