The Aloha Vortex Syndrome

Once you have been infected there is no cure. The best you can hope for is to quell the symptoms by making an occasional vist to the Land of Aloha.

    1. Yes Val, I do have the fever, it seems like it never goes away. LOL

Staying cool has been hard to do lately. We're headed to 109 today with no end in sight. The AC has been running nonstop until about 1:00 or 2:00 in the morning when it finally cools off enough. The weather man is saying this is supposed to be around until the end of September. I hope they are wrong!

  2. Wow that top photo is great, lots of depth to it... Almost looks like a scene from Jurassic Park!
Did you take the bottom photo too, or did you include it for the "The Aloha Vortex Syndrome" effect? LOL

  3. Yes, I did take the bottom photo Paul. Of course I cheated and took a photo of another photo I saw while in Whaler's Village. I couldn't find anyone that wanted to model for me. LOL

When I saw it I thought it might come in handy some time so I took a picture and then you set it up just perfect for me to use it. Thanks! LOL

Both of these photos were processed in the new Nik software as a plug in to CS5. You really, really need to try this software. I don't know if they offer a free 30 day trial or not but if they do you should download it and try it. It's great!

  4. Looks smoky and rugged back in those hills. Wonder if anyone lives there?
Your new processing program has changed the looks of your shots. Q taught you well!

  6. Nice shot! I forgot, if a woman wearing a flower on the right, she's available, and if she doesn't have any flowers on her hair, she's a grandma. Right?
