Afternoon fog

This time of year the fog is usually gone by mid morning, today it didn't burn off until almost 3:00. Made for a nice photo opportunity.

  1. And take advantage of that foggy opportunity you most certainly did! Wonderful scene of the docks and boats in the bay.

    The soft light and mysterious feeling the fog produces makes for great shooting and fantastic pictures!

  2. Very nice shot!! This looks like a black and white version that you added colrs to the leaves on.

    Is this how it was shot or did you play with it some in photoshop?

    Either way, it's still a great shot. I love the misty silhouettes and the reflections in the water.

  3. Ron you have a good eye! I did play around with this in Photoshop.

    In essence I exaggerated what I saw when I took the picture by desaturating the background and saturating the foreground.

    Fog has a way of turning everything to shades of grey...

    You did a really nice job on the photo. I like it a lot. You're getting pretty good with photoshop.
