This is a great shot! I love the look of the mountains. The only thing that would have made it better would be to cut down those trees in the forground before taking the shot. LOL
Fantastic landscape! Caught this shot at the perfect time of day with the sun striking the Mtns. Everything in sharpe focus!
As I was orienting myself from your given points from a map, my wife also wanted to see where the pretty shot was located. She was doubly impressed when seeing the name "Queen Charlotte Strait". Now I guess Queen Charlotte will be what I call her for today!
Nothing planed about this shot... I took this between pictures of pipes and dirt while at work with my old D50 / Tamron 18-200 with a dirty lens. Frankly I am very impressed with the robustness the D50! It sits on the job site all day in all kinds of weather though out of the rain and lives behind the seat of my pickup the rest of the time, and it always works!
Fabulous photo! I used to have the same camera, lens combo and thoroughly enjoyed it. Until the D50 became unpredictable as to when it would actually function. I still have it and one of these days I'm going to get it to the camera machine shop for a tune up, if I can afford it.
Very nice background! You are so lucky to live in a wonderful place like this.
