Took this picture yesterday near Port Hardy. Here on the West Coast we get hurricane force winds (over 60 mph) and rain, lots of rain! November is usually the worst or best (depending on how you want to look at it) for storms like this.
Q this is normal weather for this part of the world. Though having said that, this particular storm did wash out a number of roads and at least one bridge that I know of.
No problem getting to Hawaii in a few days, have a "Plan B" "Plan C" "Plan D" etc.... LOL
A few days?? How long is your tip going to be? I can't wait to go but I just got a notice today that American Airlines (the one that we fly to Hawaii) filed for bankruptcy protection. Supposedly they are going to keep flying and have no interuptions but I'm looking for a plan B myself, just in case!
Funny I have no "Plan B" to get back from Hawaii if something goes sideways... LOL
I understand that the parent company that owns Amarican Airlines has filed for bankruptcy. (Bankruptcy protection?) Whoever that is and for what it's worth.
LOL! You read my mind!!! I wasn't worried about getting back either!
The notice I read today says American Airlines has four BILLION dollars in the bank but they are apparently loosing millions every quarter so they filed for protection to keep the unions from trying to get pay raises, etc.
As long as nothing changes drastically untill after January I'll be happy. Does that sound selfish? LOL
the grasses in the front add such rich color to the power behind. :)
ReplyDeleteWell composed shot. I can feel the energy from the storm!
ReplyDeleteThis is a very nice shot! It makes me want to start looking for a life boat even though I'm seeing it from land.
ReplyDeleteAnd TexWisGirl is right, just that little bit of color from the grasses really show off the gray of the storm.
WOW! I hope everything is okay for you. You wouldn't want anything delay your Hawaii trip.
