Both very nicely composed pictures, I really like the top photo.
But for the life of me I can't figure out what kind of machine that is in the bottom photo... But then I'm from the West Coast. Almost looks like one of those nasty cars in the "Road Warrior" movie!
Paul, I have no idea either. May be Parker or Ron could tell us what that is. I think Ron grew-up in the farm, but refused to wake up early in the morning. Just kidding Ron.......
I'm no farm boy but I do live in Kansas so I've seen a few farms. And you're right Q, I would never make it as farmer because I don't like to get up early! LOL
To me, this looks like a blend of a cutter and rake for cutting hay and then piling it into a long row so it can be scooped up by the bailer. I'm just guessing but that's what it looks like to me.
I like both of these shots. The bottom one kind of draws you in and leads you though the picture.
ReplyDeleteI really like the top one though. The sky is amazing and has a 3D quality to it.
Very nice!
Interesting agriculture pics. Very nicely presented.
ReplyDeleteI've always thought farmers were the biggest gamblers around. So many elements stacked against them.
That first shot is absolutely beautiful.
