I've got my eye on you...

I took this shot with the Sigma 10-20mm wide angle one day. Just kidding!! I've accidentally been that close to one of these guys before but never on purpose!

This was shot with the Sigma 150-500mm at 500mm. It has a little cropping to it but just to take some of the empty space on the right hand side out of the shot.

  1. Rounding a trail and coming face to face with one of these large animals will definately get your circulation system going!

This is a well focused photo and the attention to the eye is spot on. That eye sure is haunting.

    Good capture at 500mm setting.

  2. Let me guess... 500mm with one hand while galloping on a horse! LOL

Nice close in and sharp image! It's clear to see that these guys are built to take the winters in your part of the world!

  3. It looks like your 500mm is a good investment to your collections. Is this lens for FX format?

  4. Paul, no horse and not one handed, although I have been working out lately, maybe next time! LOL
This was shot handheld of course.

Q, yes the Sigma 150-500mm is a FX format lens. http://www.sigmaphoto.com/shop/150-500mm-f5-63-apo-dg-os-hsm-sigma

Ignore the MSRP though. I got mine used in mint condition for just a touch over $800.
