' OKIE "




This ' CENTENNIAL LONGHORN ' was Skyview Elementary's contribution to the Statehood's celebration.




Standing by the sidewalk that leads to the front door of the school, He greets all the youngsters every morning. He even puts in a Plug for the Mother Road, Route 66.

    Someone took their time on this one, the colors and detail look just about right.
    So just how many of these Centennial Longhorns are there around where you live anyway?

    I'm with Paul on this one, the colors and detail do look right and it's a little more pleasing to my eye than "Ole Red". LOL

    Paul I believe there are seven of them. One is on private property behind locked gates. I need to catch the gates open so I can finish my series.
