Everybody has their ten minutes of fame

I don't remember where it's at Parker. It's been a long time since I was there. Not as long ago as this photo from the newspaper (50 years) but it has been a while. This is me and my dad at the anchor when I was five. My mother sewed the sailor suit for me so I could be like my Dad.

  1. Will check it out next time I'm there. Everything seems like a maze in that area with all the construction. Hope I can find it!

  2. No wonder you can't find the 20,000 lb. anchor from the USS Okalahoma anymore... It got moved from it's original location to Campbell Park in Oklahoma City back in 2006.

Suppose to be at 13th and Broadway. I was just walking Automotive Alley on Broadway Friday taking pics of that old area where all the dealerships used to be located.
