Pearl Harbor 70th anniversary parade

Ron's last post with the pretty Hula dancers brought to mind these fellows in traditional garb.

Took these pictures handheld at various focal lengths between 50 and 135mm. I had the flash on my Nikon SLR set to +1 which is as high as it goes. Most of these subjects are 30 to 40 feet away. I was surprised at how well these came out actually.

  1. Nice group of flash photos from the night time parade. Lens and photographer performed wonderfully!

Interesting body art,or tattoos, those guys are sporting!

  2. Great photos showing technical skill plus pictures of men who are really enjoying who they are!

  3. Those did come out nice Paul. Turning up the flash made a difference.

Maybe I should get one of those tattoos!

  4. Great work on the flash! It hurts to look at those tattoos.
