First blossom!


Well there it is, first salmon berry blossom of the year and a few weeks earlier than what I recall as normal! Salmon berries are a wild relative to the raspberry and grow in the Coastal areas of Oregon, Washington, British Columbia and Alaska.

  1. Wow! Spring is springing early in your neck of the woods. I would think that the blooming salmon berry, being wild and native to the region, would be a good indicator of season change. A welcome capture it is!
