Finally!!!!

I've been trying to post photos to the blog for the last three days and for some reason my system has been incompatible with the blog. I don't know why and my head hurts from trying to figure it out!

Anyway, here are a couple of more buck shots. This first one is getting a little relief from an itch.

I think this one is trying to figure out why the big tree colored thing keeps moving in front of him.

  1. I was wondering why I haven't seen any pics for awhile.

    WARNING RATED "R"
AS you know the RUT or Breeding Season is in progress this time of year. The Buck in the first pic is leaving his scent for the does by rubbing his pre-orbital glands on the overhanging branch. He will also urinate on the ground below the branch. When a Doe that is in heat encounters this scrape she will in turn leave her calling card thus declaring she is ready to mate. The Buck then will follow her scent to hopefully complete the 24 hour cycle for her to concieve.

    Nice seldom seen pic!

  2. Ron you are getting some real impressive deer photographs! Now how about some cougar or mountain lion pics... LOL

Are you using the Sigma 150-500 for these shots or your Tamron 18-250? Either way great shooting!

  3. What a great portrait of the deer. These could be in the hunting magazine.
