How did you get so close to this bird? Both great shots but the top photo is National Geographic material to be sure!
Paul, if you shoot with 400mm or 600mm lens you can get close to anything. However, most of my birds photos, it tooks me a few trips back to the same location, and hours of spying on them. If you don't have time, you can find the way how to cheat to get the shots. I'm sure there's a lot of wildlife photographers out there, they have to do something against all odds to get the money shots. I'm getting old, so I don't think I have the energy, and the time to wait for the shot. Also, I need to plan my retirement in 15 years, and I need to selling some of my gears to pay my health care insurance. However, I could marry a Canadian woman to take advantage of free health care. Sorry, if I make you depressed by reading this. LOL.
What a nice way to start Monday morning. Two finely composed birds! Wife just brought me coffee and was wowed! Not by me but by the pictures!LOL ****
Great shots Quyhn Le! Perfect lighting.Sell some gear? That's depressing! Hopefully things will turn around and get better. You can always do what Paul and I do, buy a lottery ticket and keep your fingers crossed! LOL
